Facets are flat faces on geometric shapes. The organization of naturally occurring facets was key to early developments in crystallography, since they reflect the underlying symmetry of the crystal structure. Gemstones commonly have facets cut into them in order to improve their appearance by allowing them to reflect light.
Like a well-cut diamond, we have many facets, to our lives that is. Our facets may include family such as a spouse child(ren) grand-parents, parents, siblings, and more! We have friends. We are worker’s, maybe you’re a leader. Like the well-cut gemstone, these facets are more beautiful when they reflect the underlying symmetry of our inner “structure”.
Why use a gemstone analogy? This analogy emphasizes my coaching philosophy and practice. We are all gemstones, in our own way. We (you) are exquisitely beautiful! You have your own unique inner “structure” to manage your life. How then can we, together, cut your facets to reflect the best of you? How do we deal with learned imperfections? Whether you are coming for Leadership development and coaching, Career or Life coaching, it all begins with who you are.
My coach approach is to create a safe and “no-judgment” space for our relationship. I’ll help you:
Identify what you really want out of and do with your life. With my support you will examine your inner structures that support or provide obstacles to your success. Together we’ll explore your dreams, create goals to them. We’ll illuminate your opportunities along your path and work to navigate any obstacles.
You have an inner wealth of resilience, fierceness & strength, creativity, compassion, and empathy. The magic happens when you learn to channel these inner resources, combined with your external resources to build the life, leadership, and career you dream about.
Together we will:
- Identify your True North Star – where do you want your life to take you?
- Where are you now?
- We’ll find the gaps, access your authentic self.
- Chart your path to the life you want:
- What will it take to get there?
- What obstacles will you face? How will you overcome them?
- Set a plan. What will you do, by when?
- Help you create the support system to help you achieve your dream.
